Terms of Service – Ratix Studio

Welcome to Ratix Studio. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Ratix website and the Ratix mobile applications (collectively referred to as the "Service") operated by Ratix Studio ("we", "us", or "our").

Please read these Terms carefully before using the Service. By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use the Service.

These Terms should be read together with our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect and handle your information.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the Service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

Ratix Studio provides GPS navigation, route-finding, mapping, and real-time weather features through its website and mobile applications. The Service relies on your device's location capabilities and third-party data providers to deliver these features.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, with or without notice, and without liability to you.

3. Eligibility

The Service is intended for users who are at least 18 years of age. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you are 18 years or older. We do not knowingly permit individuals under 18 to use the Service. If we become aware that a user is under 18, we reserve the right to suspend or terminate their access.

4. License to Use the Service

  • You must not rely solely on the Service for navigation, and you remain fully responsible for your own safety and decisions while traveling.
  • You must obey all traffic laws, road signs, and regulations regardless of any directions provided by the Service.
  • You must not operate the Service in a manner that distracts you while driving, cycling, walking, or otherwise moving. Always prioritize your safety and the safety of others.

Ratix Studio is not liable for any accidents, injuries, losses, delays, or damages arising from your use of, or reliance on, the navigation features.

6. Weather Data Disclaimer

Real-time weather information is provided through the OpenWeather API and other third-party sources. Weather data is provided "as is" and may be inaccurate, delayed, or unavailable. You should not rely on the Service as your sole source for weather-related decisions, especially in situations involving safety or severe conditions. Ratix Studio is not responsible for any consequences resulting from reliance on weather data.

7. Third-Party Services

The Service integrates with and may contain links to third-party services, including the OpenWeather API and mapping providers. Your use of these third-party services is governed by their own terms and privacy policies. Ratix Studio does not control and is not responsible for the content, accuracy, availability, or practices of any third-party services.

8. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the Service — including but not limited to software, design, text, graphics, logos, and trademarks — are the exclusive property of Ratix Studio or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to use the Ratix Studio name, logo, or trademarks without our prior written permission.

9. User Conduct

You agree to use the Service responsibly and in compliance with all applicable laws. You are solely responsible for any activity that occurs through your use of the Service. We reserve the right to investigate and take appropriate action against any conduct that violates these Terms.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ratix Studio disclaims all warranties, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free of harmful components, or that any defects will be corrected.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Ratix Studio and its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, revenue, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of, or inability to use, the Service — even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

In jurisdictions that do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, our liability shall be limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Ratix Studio and its affiliates from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination shall continue to apply.
